I'm in LOVE… with this house!

Ok, really- this is fabulous. I love everything about it- and you will too!

An Antique-Filled Victorian House in Illinois

Designer Annie Brahler creates an old-world feeling in her Jacksonville house with a creamy palette, chandeliers in every room, and one incredible shoe closet design.

A Classic Living Room

Original Beaux-Arts plasterwork and parquet set off imports from her company, Euro Trash. On a seagrass rug from Lowe's, she grouped linen-covered Belgian bergères and a Louis XVI side table with a 19th-century French gilt settee and Dutch footstools. Vintage curtains hang at the windows. A Belgian crystal chandelier and sconces sparkle against walls in Ralph Lauren Paint's Design Studio White.

White Magnolias
Magnolias from Annie Brahler's yard in Jacksonville, Illinios, enrich her living room's creamy palette.

Parlor
The parlor's daybed, gilt tables, overmantel, and chandelier are all French. Brahler found just enough vintage wallpaper in France to top wainscots painted Sherwin-Williams Cloud White. The mantel shelf holds one of the designer's hallmark "extreme juxtapositions": a massive empty picture frame, propped against the mirror, alongside antlers her children collected on hikes. Glass domes shelter antique taxidermy.

Library Doors
In the library, antique fauteuils stand against a bookcase made from a salvaged door surround.

Dutch Dining
Slipcovered armchairs from Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic Couture encourage lingering around the 19th-century Dutch dining table. Curtains like these often fill in for interior doors in the Netherlands.

Dutch-Inspired Kitchen
Highlighting Brahler's Dutch heritage, the kitchen has a fireplace adorned with 17th- and 18th-century Delft tiles and bluestone columns from Breda. The zinc architectural finial (at left), double-door cupboard, and bronze chandelier also come from Holland, where gray-painted floors like this are traditional. Brahler treasures the worn upholstery of her 18th-century French armchair. She beefed up a vintage demilune chest by adding rear cabinets and a marble top to create the central island. Stainless-steel range and hood by Thermador.

Breakfast Room
Brahler found the breakfast room's antique china cabinet and caned chairs in Holland. Belgian linen filters the sun; Rachel Ashwell pendants hang overhead.

A Stair Hall that Shines
In the stair hall, daylight bounces off a Dutch chandelier and assorted mirrors.

A Double Headboard

Brahler "retrofitted" a neoclassical daybed to create the master bedroom headboard.

A Teenager's French Bedroom
Brahler's 14-year-old daughter, Isabel, a softball-playing Francophile, decorated her own room with a Louis XV-style bed and French mirror.

Vuitton Colors
The gentleman's-club tone of son Daniel's room speaks to the teenager's interest in British history. His mother matched Behr paint and a Jonathan Adler Union Jack rug to colors on a Vuitton bag.

Old-School Glamour
The master bath's chocolaty walls play up the brilliant whites of a recycled tub, curtains in Kally Almost White sheer from Hancock Fabrics, and Daltile floor and shower tiles. The crystal light fixture is a 1980s update of old-school glamour.

Chic Dressing Area
Braheler's carpenter "stretched" a vintage armoire to hold shoes. The Belle Epoque chandelier casts a rosy glow over an island cobbled together from multiple cabinets
