At Home: Light, Airy and oh so Lovely

“Light is creation. Darkness is the space necessary to create.”

This is so pretty! OK, no kids in this room, no pets no red wine, no food… I'm not sure I could even go in this room, but I want this room! What is it about white upholstered furniture that makes me swoon?

This is such a sweet decor idea-- hand up a vintage dress.

I like this spacious and open area-- where living and dining are combined, lovely slipcovered dining chairs. I like the slipcover concept also, so easy to change up the look of the room according to season or holiday. Red at christmas, green in the spring….and so on. This is where sewing skills would come in handy!

Neutral Kitchen Cabinetry… Taupe and interesting color. It's not tan, not grey, it's just "Taupe".

“I know you probably feel like there's no color left in the world. Like there's no light, instead all darkness. But there's sunshine. There are colorful flowers all around us. And for me, you're the only thing...the only one I see. The only one I've seen in a long time. I know it's hard to imagine, but one day you'll see the colors again.”

“Inside all of us is a light, but some beacons are darker than others, and some are so dark they never realize they are a form of light at all.”
