In a Las Vegas home, an antique Italian mirror surmounts the master bedroom's mantel, which was designed by Atelier AM; the armchair and ottoman are upholstered in an Old World Weavers fabric. The bed was custom made, and the handwoven rug is by Beauvais Carpets.

Installed on either side of the mantlepiece are circa 1970s Mario Yagi/Sirrah, Garbo lighting with long fringe shades. The silk taffeta drapes are custom made with unfinished edge detail and braided trim fabricated by Georgina Rice & Co. The Milo chair frames with polished brass finish are from Lawson-Fenning, reupholstered in white quilted Rubelli fabric. The two basalt stone side tables with polished tops are from Michael Taylor.

Schiffermüller's system called for a series of charts, as Schäffer's system had. He used blue rather than Schäffer's choice, red, as his example. The resemblance is only superficial, however, as they offer different information.
